About Joseph
Joey focuses his practice on helping individuals and families with drafting wills and trusts, estate administration, guardianships, special needs planning, and elder law. Joey is passionate about providing individualized planning that is carefully crafted to fit each client’s personal needs and circumstances. He is also a member of SouthBank Legal’s commercial litigation practice, ranked by Chambers USA in 2023.
Joey began his career as a healthcare attorney at a national Am Law 100 firm, where he learned to navigate the complex world of federal and state healthcare agencies and regulations, an essential skill he often utilizes when assisting his estate planning and elder law clients.
In addition to practicing law, Joey is active in the local community. He is a member of the Michiana Estate Planning Council and serves on the committee of the Community Foundation of Elkhart County Estate Planning Council. Joey is also a member the Indiana State Bar Association Elder Law and Trusts, Probate, and Real Property Sections.
