About Matthew

Matt focuses his practice on commercial real estate matters, eminent domain litigation, aviation transactional matters, employment litigation, estate and succession planning, entity formation, and general corporate transactional and litigation matters. Matt’s clients have ranged from individuals, small businesses, and non-profit organizations to Fortune 500 companies. He has helped clients resolve matters at every phase of litigation and assisted with transactional matters ranging from entity formation to complex contract disputes and negotiations.

While in law school, Matt worked as a legal intern with the Notre Dame Community Development Clinic and as a research assistant focusing on eminent domain matters. Prior to attending law school, Matt worked for a small investment firm that focuses on venture capital and real estate investments. Matt handled a diverse set of issues, ranging from evaluating business plans and potential investments to assisting in negotiations for real estate development project contracts. Matt began his career working at the Indiana Republican Party and then for Rep. Jackie Walorski’s campaign as her Finance Director.

  • Defended a medical device manufacturer in multidistrict products liability litigation.
  • Represented financial institutions and commercial lenders in connection with commercial loan collection, replevin, and foreclosure actions.
  • Represented manufacturers in vendor and supplier contract disputes.
  • Represented FBOs, companies, and individuals in a variety of aviation transactions, ranging from purchase and leasing to charter management.
