Beat Back Perjury Allegations Against Executive of Fortune 100 Health-Care Company

A Fortune 100 health-care company facing scores of civil lawsuits related to its products retained an AmLaw 100 firm for its defense. One of the company’s high-ranking executives testified on multiple occasions about the safety of its materials and propriety of its actions. Based on the testimony, the plaintiffs alleged that the executive had committed perjury and an investigation ensued. This jeopardized both the outcome of the civil proceedings and the freedom of the executive.  The AmLaw 100 firm turned to SouthBank Legal to conduct an intensive examination and detailed inquiry. SouthBank Legal was able to demonstrate that the executive’s testimony had been completely truthful; as a result, the investigation was closed and the Fortune 100 company resolved the civil matters.
