About Erika
Erika focuses her practice on civil litigation and appeals. As a former career federal appellate law clerk, Erika worked on a wide array of cases from complex business and regulatory issues to maritime law and immigration. During her years as a law clerk, she developed a particular interest in civil rights litigation, civil and criminal procedure, and appellate practice.
After law school, Erika served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard F. Suhrheinrich on the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and as career law clerk to the Honorable William H. Pryor, Jr. on the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. After leaving her clerkship, Erika opened her own office performing work for a global engineering and architectural firm as well as helping individuals with a variety of legal issues, involving contract, employment, tort, and municipal law.
Immediately prior to joining SouthBank Legal, Erika returned to clerking for Judge Suhrheinrich for several years until his retirement.
